They’re taking the apps out of Apple.

The tech giant is denying access to at least 11 apps that allow iPhone users to cut back on the amount of time they and their kids can spend on the devices, it was reported Saturday.

An analysis by the New York Times and Sensor Tower, an app data firm, found Apple even forced app creators to get rid of features that let parents keep youngsters from websites featuring “adult content.”

Some app creators have shut down; others worry that they’ll meet the same fate, according to the report.
