The Shield farewell

Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose reformed The Shield for the last time ever at Fastlane and defeated Baron Corbin, Drew McIntyre as well as Bobby Lashley in a Six Man Tag Team Match.

The Hounds of Justice will never fight together again as Ambrose has refused to sign a new deal with WWE and will therefore leave the company after WrestleMania 35.

Reigns, Rollins and The Lunatic Fringe will stand before the crowd tonight for the last time ever to bid farewell to The Shield.

FASTLANE RESULTS

Triple H and Batista confrontation

Batista made a shock return to WWE two weeks ago when he brutalised Ric Flair on his 70th birthday.

Triple H is furious with The Animal’s actions and seems set to accept his challenge for a WrestleMania match; something the wrestler-turned-actor has been after for years.

The two former Evolution team-mates will come face-to-face tonight in what promises to be a heated confrontation.

Triple Threat

It is official, RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey will defend her title against Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair in a Triple Threat Match at WrestleMania.

Rousey sealed the bout at Fastlane when she interfered during a must-win fight for Lynch who was taking on Charlotte.

Just when The Man was ready to tap out to the Figure Eight, the UFC Hall of Famer stormed down the ring and punched her in the gut to hand her the win via disqualification.

Lynch and The Queen aren’t scheduled to appear tonight on RAW but WWE teased a potential confrontation between the three women.

Nia Jax and Tamina rage

Nia Jax and Tamina failed to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships from Bayley and Sasha Banks at Fastlane.

But The Samoan Slaughterhouse had the last laugh as they destroyed the inaugural title-holders at ringside.

WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix, who was on guest commentary, tried to stop them but she also felt the wrath of the dominant duo.

Natalya came to the aid of her friend and fellow legend but she was also levelled by Jax and Tamina.

WWE teased a potential return from Phoenix and The Queen of Harts who could look for retribution.

Finn Balor vs Bobby Lashley

Bobby Lashley has been trying to regain the Intercontinental Championship ever since losing it to Finn Balor at Elimination Chamber.

Lashley has struggled in his title pursuit as his former manager Lio Rush inadvertently sabotaged him.

But The Almighty will get his opportunity to win the belt back tonight against Balor.

Will the MMA hero get any assistance from his new associates Baron Corbin and Drew McIntyre?
