WWE fans were left baffled when the screen cut to black. Some were quick to explain the mystery by suggesting it was a “wardrobe malfunction”. Lynch had to pull her top over her chest as Asuka got the better of her during the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship.
Then the live feed was cut from Chase Field in Phoenix, Arizona.
When the live feed returned The Man could be seen adjusting her gear, luckily the blackout covered up whatever went wrong for Lynch.
It is usual for WWE to cover things that they deem unsuitable for audiences by cutting the live feed.
One WWE fan wrote “somebody get my girl Becky Lynch some double-sided tape”.
Others said it was “probably the last time she wears this gear” and asked “was WWE cutting to black earlier cause Becky had a wardrobe malfunction?”.
One Twitter user said: “Did anyone catch Becky Lynch’s boob popping out?!
“That’s why the screen went black.”
Becky Lynch’s wardrobe malfunction happened immediately after a windmill kick from Asuka, the Empress of Tomorrow.
Over the past six months Lynch has become one of wrestlings biggest stars.
She has reinvented her character and is now seen as a tough, no-nonsense fighter who often feuds with WWE superstar Ronda Rousey.
Asuka has also seen a recent resurgence in her success after losing her undefeated streak against Charlotte Flair last year at WrestleMania.
This is not the first wardrobe malfunction at a WWE event, a similar incident happened last week when Sasha Banks’ bum came out of her pants on Monday Night RAW.
